How the Fund works
The New Zealand Cash Fund is an actively managed portfolio of bank bills, floating rate notes and short term deposits and securities, with a maximum weighted average duration not exceeding six months. The investment team considers economic fundamentals, market sentiment, fund flows and relative value between the cash rate and other securities along the yield curve in determining the selection of suitable securities.
How does the Fund meet your needs?
The fund uses both interest rate and credit strategies with the aim of providing you with a return above the ANZ NZ 90 Day Bank Bill Gross Return Index on a rolling 12 month basis.
The fund is ideal if you are looking for a low risk and capital secure product, or if you have short term (one to three year) investment goals.
What are the key risks with this Fund?
Risks specific to the fund may include or be associated with the money market, the performance in underlying fixed income securities, derivatives risk and the risks of investing in a unit trust structure.
